The Nagaland Chess Association (NCA), Head quartered at Kohima, Nagaland, India  and registered under the Societies Registration Act. of 1860, dt.13-6-89, is the apex administrative Chess Association of the state of Nagaland. It was formed in the year 1989 by Thejao Vihienuo, T.S Meren and K.Mepfuo from Kohima, Nagaland. The first president of the association was K. Mepfuo.

 

It is affiliated to the All India Chess Federation, and officially accredited by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs, (FIDE).
